Sarah Carey is the editor of Everyday Food magazine and her job is to come up with the best ways to make fast, delicious food at home. But she’s also a mom to two hungry kids, so the question “What’s for dinner?” is never far from her mind — or theirs, it seems! Her days can get crazy busy (whose don’t?), so these videos are all about her favorite fast, fresh meals — and the tricks she uses to make it all SO much easier.
Id drink that straight up. Using all the turmeric juice in one glass. It is so healthy for you. I love your videos.
Awesome and simple…
I gets so hungry after drinking it oh man I ate like big dog I couldn’t control myself
Does this help with inflammation? I was thinking about using my vitamixer to make this for inflammation.
pls let me know the brand name of the juicer mine didnt work. I tried with lime its good.
Hi love to try this recipe. But I dont have lemon.. do you think it is good to substitute with lime or calamansi
Do not drink it cold…drink it warm for best effect
Can i use the powder
If you live in the US Winco sells fresh tumeric!
What if I didn't get fresh turmeric?
Can I use powder??
We've been drinking that for centuries in the Philippines, here that's called Salabat.
This is a tradiitional beverage from Java, Indonesia. Called Kunyit Asam (Sour Turmeric). The original one uses Tamarind as the souring agent. Other ingredients are identical, except no soda water added
healthy, yummy and it's good for your body… waaay better then sodas (which are really bad for your and they make you fat, that includes the "Diet Sodas"
Great drink all year round. =)
I want to try this but how do you store the tumeric juice?
So nice for immunity & great skin
Thank you for this wonderful informative video, so healthy. On a negative note though, turmeric is a little devil for staining clothes and fingers.
Will your teeth turn orange???
I could definitely use this today…im feeling a bit down 🙁 looks super tasty
This looks really good. We've been wanting a GOOD juicer, but not sure what is the best one to get. What juicer are you using here, as we've decided to order one and looking for a little direction. Thanks and keep up the great work.
For a moment I thought that was a bit too much turmeric. Then I realized she's diluting it in soda water. That looks so nice. I have to find a soda maker.
At least she didn't squeeze any tea bags this time…
Love that color
Needs vodka
Carbonated water certainly isn't going to help any stomach discomfort, it will irritate it.
HEY ! How about making the elixir into ice cubes ? If you just need 2 tbs you can portion it quite well with the cubes and it's perfect for the summer 🙂
How can you get the benefits of the turmeric by drinking it this ? The beneficial ingredient in turmeric is curcumin which is fat soluble. So in my opinion you aren't receiving any nutrients because in order for curcumin to be activated it needs to taken with a fat such as coconut oil and combined with black pepper. Make yourself a turmeric ginger tea instead of this juice if you really want the health benefits of turmeric.
I LOVE Shirar! One of my favourite MS channel hosts
You forgot the black pepper!
Can I peel the turmeric and make this in a high speed blender instead of juicer? Looks great!
any alternatives on how to get the turmeric juice if we don't have a juicer?
Yes this is very awesome and tasty…in Indonesia very popularity it's call jamu java putting turmeric ,tamarind honey,n bit lemon😄😄
Juice the lemons in the juicer
All that honey doesn't work for the many diabetic, pre-diabetic, overweight, and obese Americans.
I will be having this tonight, Yum Yum!
Ok…at the very end she say, "just the best __ soda you could ever have". What I heard was "burn up". Is that right? What does that mean?
