  • I just made this. After I browned the meat I actually boiled the meat on low for an hour or so in broth till softened, before I continued the part where he adds the soup and meat to the mushroom and onion

  • Mmmmmm. NO RED WINE?? Sacrilege. Best omit cream of mushroom Soup; use soured cream at the end and beef stock for 'liquid' along with wine. Never add cream while cooking; it can curdle. Add at end AFTER cooked.
