2 oz. pork belly
¼ c. zucchini
¼ c. carrots
¼ c. red bell pepper
1 tsp. lime juice
1 tsp. sesame seeds
2 sprigs cilantro
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. scallions

  • Reasons not to eat pork:

    1- pork products are likely to contain urine, hair, fecal contamination, bile, intestinal contents, diseased animals, toenails, ect

    2- pigs are treated horribly, during pregnancy, sows are trapped in gestation crates, just 2 ft wide, not big enough for them to turn around in or engage in any natural behaviors. They chew on the bars, wave their heads incessantly back & forth or lie on the pavement in an apparent state of dejection. Nearly immobilized, the pigs spend months staring ahead, waiting to be fed, likely going out of their minds …Then their piglets are taken away, and the sows are impregnated once more, returned to gestation crates to start the entire cycle of misery again. Workers are also occasionally slam piglets headfirst into the ground, leaving them to suffer and die slowly, among other atrocities

    3- pork is full of antibiotics. using 4x as much antibiotic per pound of meat as cattle ranching & significantly more than chicken production.

    4. The digestive system of a pig metabolizes food very quickly through one stomach in a process that takes about four hours. A cow takes twenty four hours to digest what’s eaten and it is able to get rid of excess toxins during the digestive process. The pig’s digestive system doesn’t allow for this and the toxins are carried into the fat cells and organs of the pig itself.

    5. Pigs also do not have sweat glands. Perspiration is a key method the body uses to for detoxification and the pig is not designed to perspire. When you consume pig meat we get all of these pathogenic microorganisms and environmental toxins into our system.
