If they are being fried in Peanut oil, vegetable oil or soybean oil how are they healthy? I’m just wondering this because peanut, soybean or vegetable oil are not good for us. So is it okay to really eat these.
I love cracklin but I buy pastured-raised pork belly & make it myself. It's time-consuming but worth it. Is there enough protein in cracklin, since the skin is still attached?
Oh goodness I use them to make sure I get my protein minimum in because they don't upset my stomach. I only get the plain ones. I have started taking collagen supplement.

I wonder why the pork rinds that just say "pork skin, salt" don't have to say what they are fried in.
