We are a family of 9 and I am pregnant and experiencing some issues with my gallbladder which means I need to stay on a low fat diet for the remainder of my pregnancy.

I find it such a pain to prepare myself separate meals from the rest of the family so I wanted to make good, healthy, tasty low fat meals that the whole family would enjoy together. This week we thought we’d loosely base our diet on the Japanese diet as their diet is generally lower in fat than our own.

We all really enjoyed every single one of the meals this week, the children loved the idea of the Japanese theme and are keen for us to do another week themed with a different country’s cuisine so we’ll have to sort that out soon.
