  • All ingredients in this have been prepared in advance… adding a spice mixture as an ingredient is kinda like advising to "just cook it WELL"
    Not a fan.
    To get the veggies to look like in the video, blanche them in boiling water for a moment, strain them from the water, then toss them into cold water, or icewater if you have it at hand.
    For raw pork, dry the meat with some papertowels, then cut it into bite size chunks. fry the pork in your skillet or wok from all sides until lightly browned, then add the veggies.
    For spices – I imagine chinese 5 spices to consist of curcuma, paprika, garlic,onion and salt. My preference would be to add salt and pepper, perhaps some powdered chili – but just season as desired.
