Low Calorie Healthy No Carb Coffee Steak in English

A beautiful steak infused with coffee to give an amazing depth of flavor, this recipe comes from Nancy Oster!
2 to 3 tbsp of olive oil
5 average pieces of steak
1 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic puree
salt to taste
1 tbsp instant coffee
1 tbsp lemon pepper
2 spring onions chopped in little pieces
2 radishes sliced thinly
Mix the below ing in the marination pan used for steak
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 tbsp black vinegar
sesame oil to taste
2 tbsp soy sauce
pepper flakes to taste
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp fresh ginger and garlic
Marinate the steak in ginger, garlic, salt, coffee, and lemon pepper and keep it aside for a minute. In a wok or pan add the olive oil and make sure it get hot so when you add the steak it sizzles and locks in all the juices, while this is searing let’s make the sauce. First add the orange juice in the same pan used for marinating the meat next add the vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, pepper flakes, and cornstarch. Turn the steak over and make sure it is brown on both sides, add the sauce and let it thicken, lastly cover with a lid and let it cook for about 7 minutes. Serve this dish on a nice platter and top it with spring onions and radishes!

  • MK, the garlic and ginger paste is bought ready to use from a store. Any store selling groceries from the Indian subcontinent or Pakistan would sell it. You have the option to buy Garlic paste and Ginger paste in separate bottles or premixed. I recommend separate preparations for the most flexibility.
