Low Calorie Gluten Free Chocolate Muffin – Dessert Recipe # 5

This Friday we are sharing a very low calorie chocolate muffin recipe that uses whole natural ingredients. It is also gluten free if you are sensitive to gluten. This muffin does not contain a lot of protein but it is meant for a healthy dessert after a high protein meal.

Calorie and Macro Information:
59 calories, 10C, 1F, 3P


80g oat flour
6g unsweetened coco powder
1 large egg white (40g)
40g unsweetened apple sauce
Stevia or artificial sweetener of your choice (amount = 1/2 cup honey)
125 ml nut milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp vanilla extra and other flavorings of your liking.


Preheat the oven to 200˚C or 492˚F .

Step 1: Mix everything together in a bowl very well. You can use a mixer or just a large spoon.

Step 2: Pour the batter into a muffin tray and put it in the oven for 25 min.

Step 3: Let the baked muffins cool on each side for 5 min. Use a cooling rack if you have one.
