How to Make Healthy, Tasty and Creamy Beef Stroganoff

Make an amazing quick, easy and classic Beef Stroganoff with tender steak and mushrooms in one pot/electric pressure cooker! Just add to te pot the beef, thyme, paprika/sumac, pepper, mushrooms, onions, mustard, white wine, tomato paste, garlic, and add then add a touch of parsley and greek yogurt.

RECIPE

Beef Stroganoff 6 good servings, 3 meals

Prep 15 ∙ Cook 12 ∙ Makes 6 ∙ Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds of meat, flap beef, excess fat removed, sliced or cubed
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
½ teaspoon paprika o sumac
½ teaspoon pepper
1/2 pound of sliced mushrooms
1 y 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 onion, (1cup) chopped
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons sundried tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, grated
1 tablespoon flour or cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

Sprinkle thyme, paprika or sumac and pepper over the meat and bring to a preheated oven at 500F BROIL for 30 seconds to 1 minute. (This step is optional for the meat lightly browned.)

Mix the yogurt and the cornstarch and place it and the rest of the ingredients except the parsley into the pressurecooker pot.
Cover and cook at LOW setting for 10 minutes.
Remove from the pot and serve.

RECETA (SPANISH)

INGREDIENTES
2 libras de vacío de res, pounds of cubed beef (flap), cortado en trocitos
1 cucharada de tomillo fresco
½ cucharadita paprika o de sumac
½ cucharadita pimienta
1/2 libra de hongos tajados
1 y 1/4 taza yogur natural
1 cebolla picada, 1 taza
1/4 taza vino blanco
2 cucharadas de mostaza
2 cucharadas de pasta de tomates secos
2 diente de ajo, rallado
1 cucharada fécula de maíz o maicena
1 cucharadita sal
4 cucharadas perejil picado

PROCEDIMIENTO

Espolvoree tomillo, paprika o sumac y pimienta sobre la carne y lleve al horno precalentado en BROIL a 500F durante 30 segundos a 1 minuto. (este paso es opcional para que la carne dore un poco.)

Mezcle el yogur y el almidón de maíz o maicena y colóquelo con el resto de los ingredientes excepto el perejil en la olla a presión eléctrica.
Tape y cocine en BAJO durante 10 minutos.
Retire de la olla y sirva.
