Green Juice WITHOUT Juicer | Episode 135
I have been juicing for weeks now and I have never felt better! Not only is this green juice the best green juice recipe as far as taste, it tastes good for your wallet too because you can make it without a juicer! I have wanted to juice for months and I always felt I couldn’t because I don’t have a juicer. I decided to try with the blender and obviously it worked out amazingly! To be honest, I have a juicer but it is THE WORST. It is loud, bulky, heavy, and soo annoying to clean. My blender is light, easy to clean and the whole process takes me less than 15 minutes every morning! I absolutely love it and I am finding that my body craves it more and more. I started replacing breakfast with green juice, and although juicing isn’t enough to replace a meal, it is great if you are trying to heal any health issues like myself. Green juicing is an incredible way to reduce inflammation in the body, and seeing how I have an inflammatory disease, I have noticed a big difference since I’ve started juicing. | Ingredients |
3 Stalks Celery, Diced
2 Cups Kale
2 Cups Spinach
1 Large Honeycrisp Apple, Diced
½ Large Grapefruit, Peeled & Diced
1 Lemon, Peeled & Diced
1 Inch Chunk Ginger, Peel Optional
1 Cup Fresh Water

Clean, chop, and peel fruits and vegetables.
In a large blender, add celery, kale, spinach, and water as needed to
blend thoroughly. Blend well for 1 minute.
Add apple, grapefruit, lemon, and ginger. Blend for another 2 minutes.
Place a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl. Pour the green smoothie into the strainer. Using a spoon, stir to help the juices flow through the strainer and into the bowl.
Take the remaining pulp and place it into a cheese cloth or lint free dish towel. Squeeze out all excess juice and discard pulp.
Add to ice and enjoy!
