In this Full Day of Eating, I set myself a calorie goal of 1900 calories and also aim to hit at least 220g protein – which is a lot of protein! However, the benefits of a high protein diet when on lower calories range from preserving as much muscle as possible (during your pursuit to lose fat) to helping you stay full and satisfied throughout the day (protein is the most filling macronutrient). So, although you may not need over 220g protein (most people watching this definitely won’t), it’s a great idea to keep your protein intake high to experience the above benefits! Hope you enjoy 😁
