Extreme Weight Loss Meals – Salmon and Asparagus
This episode of extreme weight loss meals features a very basic introduction meal: Salmon and Asparagus.
Fish is very light and high in protein and is a very common thing to work into your own weight loss diet. Personally, I really enjoy the taste of salmon and this is a very simple way to prepare it.
Salt, pepper, lemon slices, and onion wedges baked at 425 F for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily.
I paired it was asparagus for two reasons;
1. I had it leftover in my fridge
2. it cooks at the exact same time and temperature as the salmon so it was really easy to throw in at the same time.
Salmon is a really easy meal to work in a variety of veggies like a stir fry, broccoli, spinach salad, the list goes on.
Again, this meal is only an introduction to cooking to lose weight. It is not meant to be anything extravagant, it simply serves as an example of how easy it is to cook and prepare food that contributes to a goal of maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle, or contributing to losing weight to meet a target fitness goal.
I would highly suggest trying out some different ways of preparing this meal and pairing it with other sides, at the end of the day you will only become more versatile in your kitchen!
