BEEF POTATO CURRY – BENGALI-STYLE RECIPE WITH A REAL BENGALI CHEF

HOW TO COOK A FAMILY SIZED BENGALI BEEF CURRY WITH A BENGALI CHEF

Full Recipe
Heat Cooking pan to medium heat
Add oil
5 Garlic Cloves
1 inch Ginger nugget
Add half of both to get golden
Add onions
5 Chopped onion
Stir onions & mix well
Increase to High heat
3 Table Spoons of Salt
10-minutes so onions soften
Stir regularly
Add 3KG diced beef
Add remaining ginger & garlic
This is help the garlic and ginger to stick to meat
Add handful of Cinnamon sticks
Add 2-3 Cardamom and Cloves
3 Baylifs
Chop & add chillies
Using scissors makes things easier
Add water as shown in video
Add tablespoon of salt
Let sit for 25-30 minutes
1 and half Teaspoons of the following:
Curry powder
Jeera powder
Coriander powder
Cumin powder
Chilli powder
Haldi powder
Add it chilli if you want
Let sit for 20 minutes on medium heat
Further 20 minutes
Add water
Add potatoes 8-10 baby potatoes
Stir
Add water
Cover garnish with fresh coriander
Serve and Enjoy!
