Air Fried Fish Tacos

Air Fried Fish Tacos made in the Power Air Fryer Oven

In this video I’m making my version of fish tacos in the air fryer using flour tortillas taco shells and haddock. At the end of the video I will also show you how you can make these even healthier by eliminating carbs for a low calorie fish taco. If you want to make fish tacos without the additional carbs of the flour tortillas you can substitute them with 2 or 3 leaves of the lettuce and steam the fish instead of breading it for a healthier version of the fish. So whether you prefer crispy breaded fish tacos or just a healthy baked fish taco wrapped in lettuce you will enjoy these.

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup All purpose flour
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs (Italian or Panko)
Salt
Pepper
Old Bay Seasoning
2 tbsp Parsley or Cilantro
2 tbsp Green Onions Diced
1 tbsp Basil Chopped
Lemon Slices
4 oz Zucchini Diced
4 oz Haddock (Cut into 1 inch Slices)
Butter leaf lettuce
Small Flour Tortillas (or Corn Tortillas)

Prep:

Season the fish, flour and the egg wash with salt pepper and old bat seasoning.
Flour the fish strips, Egg wash and roll into bread crumbs.
After breading fish place on your oven rack and bake at 400°F for 5-7 minutes.

Spray the four tacos and place them on stainless steel taco holder, then place them on the oven rack and bake @400°F for 5 minutes.

While tacos are toasting, saute’ the diced zucchini in some olive oil, add salt, pepper, basil, and some cilantro or parsley. let cool.

Assemble the tacos by adding 2 butter leaf lettuce leaves at the bottom of the taco shell, add the fish, diced tomatoes, zucchini, parsley and squeeze some lemon.

If you want to make these air fried fish tacos without the carbs of the flour tortillas, instead of using taco shells you can substitute them for 2 or 3 leaves of the lettuce. You can also steam the fish instead of breading it for a healthier version of the fish.
