Cheesy Spinach Bites: Healthy Game Day Snack

These Cheesy Spinach Balls are easy to make and easy on the waistline. There are only six ingredients. Be sure to make a double batch if you are inviting a bunch of folks over to watch football. They are sure to be a hit.
Cheesy Spinach Balls
1 (10 oz.) package of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry. You can also use a large bag of fresh spinach wilted in the microwave.
4 egg whites
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
1 cut gluten free Panko Crumbs or bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350°
Add all the ingredients to a medium size bowl.
Mix with a spoon and your hands to blend.
Form the spinach mix into small balls and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Top with a little parmesan cheese.
Serve plain or with a favorite dip.
