  1. I'm glad you made this video. I feel better that it's ok to eat the same salad every night with a slight variation time to time is ok. I'm mostly raw with some cooked veggies a couple of nights per week but more importantly is that I'm mostly raw. Thanks again lissa!

  2. There is nothing more beautiful than Truth! Thank you so much for sharing, again 🙂 And yes, when we go to the supermarket and see all those shelves with "food" it is all sugar and fat…dimensionally very limited…

  3. What a great video Lissa!!.. Loved your approach!!.. Only now, through your video, I realised the lack of variety in my diet, before going vegan, and specially before going raw vegan for the most part. I used to spend a good amount of time in the kitchen, preparing lasagna, quiche, etc. I used to make my own lasagna pasta, make my own pastry and those are only different ways of mixing up gluten and animal fat, with a minum amount of cooked vegetables. Now I eat more fruit and vegetable than I ate my entire life and have discovered what truly is to eat a variety and abundance of food!..By the way, thank you for your recipe book!.. Your french dressing is wonderful!!..

  4. I actually get bored with junk food. Like, I got bored with Oreos, some plain cookies, something else.., bread and also bananas actually (raw bananas disgust me now).
But I could never get bored with red apples, cherries, spinach and honeydew melons 😀

  5. You are so right. I was commenting with my husband about that the other day. When we used to go to a Chinese restaurant every Sunday we would eat the same thing every time. Variety is an illusion. Now as WFPB we eat about the same thing almost every week. And we enjoy it! ! Now I try to spice up our menu by adding more fruits and vegetables.

  6. Yeah a lot of people after watching my videos what my raw vegan daughter eats in a day tell me then that one of the mistakes I make is that I don't give her enough variety. They're not concerned about health or anything, they're concerned about "lack of variety". Thanks for this video, I'll share it! I'm not bored eating mostly fruits, my husband either. Fruits are so colorful, there's so many different kinds, each one tastes differently!

  7. Hi Melissa,

your Videos are a great Inspiration for me. Thank you so much!

Christmas i have bought 2 of your books and no i can follow you 🙂

Please, can you tell something about Kakao and why you dont use it?

    Thank You.

    Verena

  8. Yeah I do eat a lot of the same raw dishes, though I sometimes which up the ingredients depending on what's available, but I did that when I ate cooked food too. I'd bulk cook a rice, pasta or mashed potatoe dish and finish it over the course of 3 to 4 days, I do like to prep my raw meals fresh though….

  9. Very well said. The variety of the raw vegan fruitarian diet is a kin to the Okinawan diet. The Okinawan people live longer healthy lives than any others on this planet. Thank you Lissa for another great video.

  10. can I ask you a question? how do you clean your blender? because I'm lazy and if it wasn't for the cleaning I would use mine a lot more. Do you just rinse or clean throughly after every use? I don't have a dishwasher 🙁

  11. Thanks for this! I went shopping today for fresh fruits and veggies and cleaned out my apartment from all the junk. I start a raw lifestyle tomorrow. Have everything prepped for my lunch (to take to work) and even have fruit water that will be ready to drink in the morning (so I don't revert to the caffeine). I feel really ready and hoping this helps with my health! #fruiton

  12. YEP. AN EXAMPLE: I'VE EATEN FRESH FRUIT ALL MY LIFE, BUT ONCE I BECAME PLANT BASED/RAW VEGAN, I'M STILL DISCOVERING NEW FRUITS. HAD JACKFRUIT FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST MONTH. YUMM!!!! AND ALL THE VEGGIES I DIDN'T LIKE TO EAT? I WOULD PUT THEM IN A SMOOTHIE WITH FRUIT AND SO MUCH MORE. IT'S SO MUCH FUN, THE VARIETY AND DISCOVERIES OF DIFFERENT FRUITS AND VEGGIES. 😀 LISSA, I WAS SHOCKED THE OTHER WEEK. I FOUND REGULAR APPLES LABELED: INFUSED WITH GRAPE FLAVOR. WHY RUIN A GOOD APPLE?! EXOTIC FRUITS INCLUDE GRAPES AND WATERMELON "WITH SEEDS". BRING BACK THE SEEDS GROWERS!!!!😱 OH, AND THEN THERE ARE CLEANSING YUMMY SPROUTS. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. 🙌
