RICE BURGER -HEALTHY CHEAP HOMEMADE -SALMON RICE BURGER – BEEF RICE BURGER


Hello Everybody.
I would like to show you how to make a Healthy Cheap Homemade Burger. This is a Salmon Rice Burger and also how I show you how to make use of your left-over meat and left-over sushi rice. But for my video I cook fresh sushi rice to make the burgers but in my recipe below I write how you can use the left-over sushi rice and meat.
Details below:-
Flat Rice Bread.
Cook 150gm sushi rice, either steam or cook it in a rice cooker.
Mix 1 tsp wheat starch while the rice is still hot.
Place a sheet of cling wrap on the working table, place a little
Black Sesame Seed in the middle, scoop a handful of the mixed sushi rice and place on top of the sesame seeds.
Fold the cling wrap to make the sushi rice into a ball. Give it a firm press so that the sushi rice are press together to form a firm ball.
Then lay the rice ball on working surface(still wrap in cling wrap)
press it flat to about 0.75 cm thick round form of about 7 or 8 cm diameter…not any bigger or it will break when frying. Set aside while you prepare the filling.
(When using overnight sushi rice, re-steam the rice again, keeping it warm, quickly add the wheat flour and proceed as above to make the Flat Rice Bread)

Fillings
2/3 Salad leaves cut into pieces
1 big tomato cut into slices
4 slices Salmon about 0.5cm thick
1 tsp soya sauce
salt and pepper to taste.
1 tsp cooking oil
Heat a pan at medium flame and add cooking oil. When its warm enough add the slices of Salmon and fry both sides till its cooked.
This will take about 2 minutes. Place the fried Salmon aside.

Frying the Flat Rice Bread
At medium flame, heat a fresh frying pan and add 1 tbsp cooking oil, brush to spread it evenly .
Brush the Flat Rice Bread with soya sauce on both sides, fry it till both sides are lightly golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Assembling into a Rice Burger
2 tbsp BBQ Sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp mayonaise
Place the Sesame Seed side of the fried Flat Rice Bread downwards.
Brush a little HP BBQ Sauce or any sauce of your choice on the Flat Rice Bread, place the Salad Leave, Tomato slices and then followed by the Fried Salmon slices and top it with Tomato Ketchup and Mayonaise and cover with 2nd piece of Flat Rice Bread with Sesame Seed side facing upwards.
Your Salmon Rice Burger is ready to be served.

For Beef Rice Burger
As shown in the video, I used Chilli Black Pepper Beef from left overs. All you need to do is heat it up again and it is ready to be used.
Alternative: you can buy ready Breakfast Roast Beef Cut .

150gm sushi rice 1.00euros
Salmon 4 slices(for 2 burgers) 0,60euros
Salad leaves and tomato 0,50euros
Sauces and miscellanous 0,50euros
If using 2 slices Breakfast Roast Beef 1,50euros
Total cost 4,10euro for 1 Salmon and 1 Beef Rice Burger.
