  1. You can wrap the sweet potatoes individually in foil, bake as usual.  Or omit the foil, scrub them, put them in a slow cooker and cook on high for about 4-5 hours.  So sweet, soft and the skin will just peel off.  YUM!!!

  2. I used this idea tonight for dinner for my family, substituting chicken and adding sliced tomatoes on top!  It was absolutely incredibly!  Thank you Paige for the encouragement to eat healthy!

  3. I make something very similar with carrots, onions, broccoli and chicken but I find it gives more flavor to toss everything into the marinera first.

  4. Chicken, potato, and broccoli. Lemony tilapia. Sweet potatoes. I estimate that the chicken, potato, and broccoli will last about 1-2 days. The lemony tilapia will last about 1 day. Sweet potatoes will last about 1-2 days. But then, you have two boxes of brown rice, so I estimate that will last about 2 days. You also have two cartons of eggs, I recall. That will last about 2 days. So, altogether, you are really spending money for 9 days. That's a little over a week, not a few weeks.

  5. Am I the only one here who's outraged she didn't put any salt in that chicken "marinade"? I'm here wondering if that was some dessert chicken – sugar and honey?! Is this Korean? I'm so lost.
