I've been feeling like I give in to my eating disorder or I give in to my fat side – realistically I'm just listening to my bloody poor body. And yeah, I'm actually giving myself some pity because we all need an actual minute to give a damn about ourselves as much as we give to others (sorry about the rant – but I hope others who feel the same read this 🥕🤙🏽💐)

  3. This is probably a silly question, but why do you add so many bananas into your smoothie? What would you recommend for someone who is trying to lose weight using a plant based diet?

Also I am wondering if you have ever talked about your decision to be sober and how you stay that way. I struggle with drinking and I really like the fact that you are sober. (Liwai too!) I find it to be the cherry on the sundae of your channel<3

  7. I always love seeing what you eat!! I've been so confused lately about how to prepare dry beans. I soak them overnight, rinse them, and then cook them, but they're always pretty hard and gross in the end. When I soak them, do I boil the water first or just put the beans in room temperature water? Why is the texture so much better with canned beans?

  8. You're my fav! Wondering what's your opinion of candida and eating fruit. I don't seem to digest it well and have a candida issue. I do better eating mostly grain and veggies. Thoughts?

    You are such a wise lady. I find it reassuring when I'm forming new ideas about things to hear you speaking them so articulately just when I need confirmation. What you said about accepting your "bad"/naughty/disordered thinking for what it is, and just always being mindful and good to yourself, really chimed with where I'm at right now.
